Hi,Well my ebay purchase of the 6 CD oem HU showed up yesterday and it looks like it was described in the auction (like new) thankfully now I need some assistance from people that experience these radios in finding out what pins belong to the subwoofer out and what write of close I can macgyver together that ordain be solid enough to use to act my own wireharness to the subwoofer (oem) that is arriving on monday. The only thing I didn't sight is that the faceplate on my radio is the tan/brown cover and the one on this HU is black. Fortunately it looks as if the faceplate comes off with 6 screws so hopefully it ordain be the same on my current 1CD oem HU so that I can keep the cook/tan alter scheme going and not have to have a color radio in there. Anyway who can express me which plugs on the back goes to the subwoofer and what kind of connector I can get to make my own harness to connect the oem subwoofer to the head unit. Remember I undergo the RT transport so there isn't a subwoofer attach in there (I don't think there is anyway). Thanks,

I'd like to repeat DesertRidgeline's question about the subwoofer connection on the back of the head unit. (I've made a similar purchase on eBay -- head unit & OEM sub -- to retrofit into my RTX.)I do know which continue unit connector is for the subwoofer & I found a post here that specifies "by number" which pins are used. The post does not however describe how the pins are numbered. That would be a help & safe me a ton of multi-metering. Does anyone experience of a source for the subwoofer connector close (short of buying a harness from Honda)? Alternatively has anyone used an off-the-shelf molex write connector for this fit. back up challenge: Does anyone experience off-hand what type bolts (length threading etc) I need to mount the subwoofer?T. I. A.[Yeah yeah. I experience someone's going to ask why I didn't go aftermarket on this. Two answers: (1) I like the look of the factory piece and (2) I could NOT defeat the price!]

You guys just be to examine here for postings about "wiring attach" or "wiring color codes" or similar. There have been postings in the past for this. I don't evaluate any of the connectors are molex. As for the subwoofer mounting screws..... I removed mine but undergo not idea what I did with the screws. If no one here knows. I'd buy an assortment of metric screws and washers. You should be able to calculate length required from your own sub.
I've done the searches. I sight people that have installed an oem wiring harness but havn't run across anybody that has created their own subwoofer wiring attach for the OEM sub. Plenty of populate have created or tapped into or altered their existing oem subwoofer harness to put in an aftermarket sub too. I anticipate I'll just have to either buy the factory harness if it's even available as a seperate item or just wing it and hope for the beat.
Ask and you shall receive.. Here are listings the wiring terminals for several types of CD players. Note the eight pin connector has the sub-woofer outs. As for plugs no idea the eight pin connector is part of the OEM harness.
Thanks for taking the time to do that bginvestor. If I ever get a working 6CD OEM unit this will be very useful so at least I now know which pins the sub out is on.
