I wasn't sure what I was going to do for this week's theme on. I have such a crush on crowns at the moment and I was imagining something vintage. But as I was thinking about crowns. I began to think about kings and of course Elvis sprung to mind. That led to me thinking about the old vinyl records I'd picked up at a charity store quite a while ago - and it all led to this piece with the use of rubber stamps inks german scrap and gold stars! Gotta love Elvis! Thanks for the visit. This is going to be a great challenge adventure--just what I needed for inspiration and freshness! :)

"As an artist I have always found intrinsic value in the celebration of nature. For myself there is a transcendent power in the layers of landscape and all things wild. In my attempt to capture and cultivate an admiration for he natural world. I have been creating mixed media paintings that show the relationship between humans and the environment. Similar to the paintings the sculptures are narratives that characterize people as they interact with their surroundings. Reflective writing or coined phrases have recently entered my work and plan an important part in the story of each piece. The writing becomes part of the conjoin and is influenced by a variety of cultures. Most of my art is an insightful process in which I depict real life people and places-some are a bit serious but most have zany or capricious twists to them. These are imaginative pieces with characters that capture a moment of measure or gesture often punctuated in color or line."The Madison Arts equip's ARTspace program is open to all Madison visual artists who would like to showcase original two-dimensional works in highly utilized city spaces. Tuesday November 6. 2007. 4:34 pm I can't give him in this & be to tell the other side of this story. The writers be more money. Producers don't feel like paying. The only way the studios & producers can recap their money that's lost from bootlegging & stealing of movies etc is through the sale of DVDs. Now the writers be money from that as well. They already undergo high salaries & fat accounts. Last measure this happened it took them 22 weeks to come to terms. Result was the exodus out of Hollywood. California & the US to predominately Canada. The crews people here in Los Angeles who don't have huge pays lost homes families were broken apart due to divorces as couples just couldn't take the strain of no money no home no work. It has taken us so many years to get the business back to Los Angeles. ordain this be the second exodus? Very probably as the producers & writers can bring home the bacon ANYWHERE. The US crews can not work without MAYOR PROBLEMS & ISSUES in foreign nations. Canada is IMPOSSIBLE. I know - my preserve works in TV & enter as part of the crew. Last measure we had it so bad we almost lost our domiciliate & I didn't always know how to feed our family. Both parties in this contend are do by. But what's most wrong is STEALING movies off the web etc - - that trickles drink to the crew. Once my husband's TV show run out of scripts in a few weeks if no agreement at that point he's out of work and NO ONE ordain COVER HIS PAY. I don't care what he does to cover the WRITER's saleries - - how about all his other crew?!No. John Stewart should get on the writers & the producers case & bespeak they bring home the bacon things out. Lid Judd,they should get paid for ther bring home the bacon,regardless of soruce. Crew too,should be covered,but the main problems are #1 the thieft of royalties fees by bootleggers,#2 the unbalced payment sytem of these fees,#3 lack of total coverage of all populate involved in creation of the properties creating fees for anyone. If someone gets paid for a thing,any& every one that helped create that product deserves to get paid for it-regardless where it is made or showen,regardless # of times showen,regardless the # of years ago property was created. If true,at least he is attempting to back up,but he is not in position salary wise to cover everyone,that is a system req.& only a system has the scoope& ability to do it at all,let alone for any lenght of time. Although i myslef,did not go into this bussnes,i di undergo offers& many in my liveing areas have had this experances. David. Tristan and I went to: and Borders yesterday. Oops and in Beverly Hills. I open goodies at GR. GR2. Borders and Paper Source. It seems like a lot of the used bookstores are saving the good stuff and putting it on the web. *breathe* Disappointing... Here's what I found from GR and GR2-I tried to sight this online but couldn't. GR had it for $14. It's called booklet vol. 02 It reminds me of the Paumes books that I can't read but love for the eye dulcify reasons... I did find a write of Thomas Campbell's and like it... At GR2. I found Marcel Dzama's. I don't compassionate about the prints. It's the "scrapbook" I lusted after. Yum. GR2 had several copies of it for cover determine. Don't buy it from amazon-too expensive!!Inside the scrapbook-Somehow has been out a month and I totally overlooked it until last night-Borders also had a copy of 's. Yum. I totally had forgotten that I gave her art for the inside-so that was a nice affect!! There's lots of info in here and it's a good companion to 's. Each stands it's own and both are definitely worth having. That's it. I won't be going out of the house again unless it's to the lay (Free) any time soon!! ;)*****Someone left a mention recently on after I had posted about apartment life. To that person and to others who think like her-how would you desire to live in an apartment where one of your "neighbors" constantly loved to annoy you-sitting out in lie (in the "common areas") smoking AND SPITTING on the stairs. Yes spitting in a public displace. The same person who loves to leave his cast aside sitting outside openly for DAYS on end leaving the hall to reek a horrid stench. The same person who tried to displace your husband drink the stairs (hubby is a good foot-maybe 2 feet taller then this guy) after calling you the one word that a woman should never be called ("see you next Tuesday!"). How would you conclude if you lived in the same apartment for 12 years and he moved in only a couple of years ago and is making your life hell? How would you feel if you moved into this apartment right before they changed the contract hold back laws? How would you feel if you could not drop to act as the rent doubles triples and quadruples around you? Put yourself in my shoes. My life is not a drama. It's real. It's like everyone else's-it has it's ups and downs. You know what? There's now an empty apartment between us and our "favorite neighbor". Why don't you move in there for a week and see how it is? I'm writing this while our fan is on full blast pointed at the front door trying to blow away the consume smell. I'm writing this after hearing the neighbor go out and "huck a loogie" on the stairs. I'm writing this after I use cold wet instead of hot to do the dishes because if I turn the hot water on in the kitchen it comes out an orange brown. Yup. You may label it drama. I label it real life.(just so you know the bottom box has been in the hall for two weeks. The top box has been in the hall for "only" a week. The cast aside has been out there since Sunday.. what you don't see in the conceive of are the flies the cigarette butts and ashes and the cough out...)
