He writes: ‘We are running 5,000 watts days but just 990 watts nights - and have been impacted by WYLL in Chicago going from 5,000 watts to 50,000 watts nights. They are supposed to be directional north from southwest of Chicago but there is a lobe coming down here which is killing our nighttime signal in the northern parts of our merchandise. Surprising that we bounced into your part of the world.’ Surprising? Yes! DX-ing is a hobby full of surprises. That is why the hobby is so exciting. By the way.
