Does anyone undergo a lightscribe control, what brand media do you use? From my past experience with just regular cheaper cd and dvd r discs. Sometimes the coating wasnt very durable or media themselves were flimsy.
Yes. I have a Lightscribe drive that I'm building with in an LG 18x that I picked up from Circuit City and I also had a first-gen Lightscribe HP DVD burner in the last desktop that I donated to my parents (who are elderly). However. I used mainly Verbatim Lightscribe DVDs during the first-gen years of that technology and I occasionally used the HP mark but not *as* much due to the fact that they were a bit pricey during that time. Right now. I'm gonna undergo to find out who makes the beat LS discs so that way I can use this new desktop with some good labeling.

I can usually only find HP media so that's what I use. Hate Verbatim after buying a group of discs that don't read or barely construe in my drives or dvd players. If anyone knows of a media that can get 3 times as dark as HP's that'd make me be to use the feature more than twice a year.
Well apparently you can put the disc in several times and it ordain get darker. But really the beat thing is just to buy some printable CDR's and a printer capable of printing on them. Epson makes one it runs ~$100.
