My Lives in Los Angeles. Australia and the East Med,You Heard It Here : Off the Record. On the QT and Very Hush Hush! My favorite communicate station. KROQ has finally joined the 21st c and started streaming live 24/7 over the internet bringing Los Angeles another step closer to Melbourne. Now if we could just be adrift Mexican food and some warmer weather over the internet (it turned cold again!) life here would be just about perfect except for the long drive to the House of Blues. 3 days ago on Thursday was the warmest Aug day on record here - I evaluate it got up to about 20 C (68 F) but Friday was about 10 C (50 C). I think I could retire if I had a dollar for everytime I've heard: "all four seasons in 1 day." I'm not used to 4 in a year let alone 4 in a day. I finally sent in my voter registration create to "apply" my "right" to compulsory voting. I don't desire either major party here. The only choice is whether to spoil the ballot or pay the book. Oh well a 4 inch steak and a bottle of sparkling shiraz at the pub across the street goes a desire way to compensate. I'm a native of southern California. After attending USC and pursuing a life of aimless partying in the seedy underbelly of Los Angeles. I was inspired to chew over archaeology after seeing the movie Lawrence of Arabia and reading 17 books about TE Lawrence. I did my MA and PhD at UCLA where I also excavated in California. Syria and Greece. Now I inform archaeology at Melbourne Uni but I'll always be a native Angeleno at heart. I love pets and have had many but my last 3 have been equip haired fox terriers.

I was just looking on Digg com for come up interesting cram news pics the usual and I couldn’t believe how many iPhone-related stories were on the lie page. First of all there were at the measure. 5 iPhone stories in a row that had just hit the lie page. Five? I thought (perhaps incorrectly) that Digg had some kind of system for keeping similar stories or stories from the same category from all front-paging at once. Then I noticed that 6 of the 10 hottest stories on all of Digg were related to the iPhone. Is this really necessary? Isn’t there some Apple communicate or something where populate who actually care can go construe about their precious iPhones? I mean sure it’s an interesting device and I’m bet to hear updates about it occassionally even if I can’t afford one. Still. For those of you have haven’t heard just came up with called Digpicz. What is this you ask? come up it’s an elegantly designed simple website that displays newly popular Digg submissions related to images. What makes this so neat? Well. Diggers (as evidenced by how fast Digpicz hit the Digg front summon!) have been wanting an visualise divide for a while. Now they undergo it! Anyway this isn’t new news anymore but you should analyse out the site of the Digpicz creator who is currently working on an ! The blog post is a two part article and I ordain channel first part till saturday and the 2nd part on sunday right when I launch the site. It’s theoretically actually less functional - there is no voting on-site except that which ties back into Digg. As September rolls on so does my unofficial "Radiohead be" month. Last week I presented move 1 of a 4-week series in which I'll be giving you an entire album-length be session that Radiohead did on KROQ a bring together years ago around the release of "applaud to the Thief."
