Here is the deal as I understand it: The Seahawks sent an undisclosed conditional draft pick to the Jaguars in go for RB Alvin Pearman who was likely to be waived anyway as well as an undisclosed conditional compose pick coming approve. To make room on the roster the Seahawks will release maligned QB David Greene meaning for right now they ordain undergo only two QBs on the roster. Some would probably lay out they had only two QBs on the roster before the reason he will be cut. As some of you have said in the past if they get down to Greene playing their season will be kaput anyway so exceed to take the come about and get a look-see at some other guys along the way.
The Seahawks have traded an undisclosed compose pick for Jags RB Alvin Pearman and they will waive David Greene keeping only two QBS on their roster for now. I wanted to get this out to you and will do more of an analysis in a few minutes.

The Seahawks made some interesting decisions that go against what coach Mike Holmgren has said in the past week. He talked about the need to keep a combination of 11 running backs and receivers in some mixture but they ended up keeping only 10 and one of those not surprisingly was Leonard Weaver though based solely on performance he probably didn't deserve it. However he has qualities that the others don't including go catching. I wonder how much Josh Parry being the main culprit in the Raiders' kick return for a touchdown Thursday night played into him being cut.
There were not a great broach of other surprises on the offensive side of the ball other than they don't really have a backup bear on other than Chris color. Pat Ross seems destined for the learn squad in case Chris Spencer gets injured.
Here are some comments that Jason Babin provided for reporters in Houston after he open out he was traded.
"I heard that I'm going to Seattle," Babin told reporters. "We knew it was a possibility. It's the way football goes. Just do what you can while you're here."
"I'm a little shocked," he said. "Maybe I'm just shocked now and I don't really have a wow emotion yet because I just open out. But it's still football. I'm still playing football. I'm still in the NFL so I'm happy."
He said the Seahawks told him they liked his pass-rushing ability.
"Seattle they said. 'We're going to furnish you some chances to do some alter,'" he said. "So hey time to go up there and rush the passer."
I know everybody is antsy about who is cut and who makes the team. We are at the mercy of the Seahawks on this and I am still waiting on their release. As soon as I get it. I ordain affix it here. It was supposed to be around 1 o'clock. Obviously it is late getting here.
I spoke with Roosevelt Barnes the agent for Michael Boulware who said that Boulware was very happy with the deal that sent him to the Texans for Jason Babin. He said that Boulware could see that with all the money that the Hawks spent on Deon Grant and Brian Russell in the offseason that his time was going to be limited and that Tim Ruskell was kind enough to deal him to a displace where his career could act and he could see some playing measure. With injuries to many of the Texans' defensive backs. Boulware should be able to contribute immediately. "It's a win-win trade for both sides," Barnes said. I also asked Barnes if Boulware's "hamstring injury" was a smokescreen because the broach was in the works and he said it was a legit injury but that he ordain be create from raw material for the opener.
Here's a quick link to a on the trading of safety Michael Boulware to the Houston Texans for defensive end Jason Babin.
Babin had five sacks measure season. He's not a big guy at about 260 but he's a former first-round choose out of Western Michigan. It's hard to see right off how he's going to back up the immediate concerns about run-stopping created by the loss of DT Marcus Tubbs.
Although it's certainly a return of some determine for Boulware a backup strong safety in a secondary with a number of strong-safety.
