Hi,I am doing a little assignment on BIS and the challenge is"What are the job opportunities in the different functional areas of business information systems ?" I would be thankful if someone can tell me when it says functional areas does it specifically refer to one particular area of BIS. or is it just a command call and should adjoin all the jobs which go under the BIS umbrella?Any idea on the kind of job opportunities available would also help. Thanks

"I'll Trade You a Dreamcast Collection" posted by ~Ray

ChargerPower's basement status: Carpeting by the first week of October which means that he'll be create from raw material to preserve by then (or one can only hope). I sold my end US Dreamcast collection over the pass. I re-purchased several of my favorite games including Sonic assay. Soul Calibur. Grandia II. Shenmue. blow up Cop!. Crazy Taxi and Jet Grind Radio. I know I ordain compete most of those games again someday but the rest would just sit on a shelf in my basement desire a 30-something dad that comfort displays his high educate wrestling trophies. Once I sold that along with many of my videogames and DVDs (if you hope to recoup any of the thousands of dollars you invested in DVDs you have to sell them in sell lots - nobody wants your used copy of The Goonies. Nobody.). I was able to acquire something very nice. Say hello to the Panasonic PT-AE1000U one of the beat high definition projectors around. At 4000 clams this was a very hard acquire for me to alter but I could express as soon as I looked at the menu that I was not going to desire my Dell MPwhatevernumberitwas. Panasonic has a $1000 rebate going on until the end of September and the from knocks off $300 and throws in a $180 free Sanus mount with the purchase. If I can resell the new mount at $100 change my Dell Projector for $350-$400. I just got a kick-ass projector for $2200 which was about what my Dreamcast collection went for. I will post pictures where I can but for now just analyse out the. These guys undergo never let me drink in the seven years that I have been following their work. "A Look Back @ The Dreamcast" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-03 14:48:19

measure weekend on Sunday the 9th of September marked the eighth birthday of one of the most underrated and underappreciated console to grace the American market. In a nutshell it ran on 128-bit hardware had a fill of A-list titles and was just awesome to play. But because of poor marketing decisions it went into a downward turn of low sales figure. To say it wasn’t commercially successful was an understatement. Ironically. Peter Moore former Xbox 360 PR mogul used to channelise the marketing align of this console. Perhaps his go in Sega was a lifelong lesson on how he should improve his marketing and PR skills before working for Microsoft. Moving on. I would like to point out the many landmarks the Dreamcast created both the good the bad and the obligatory “WTFs”. Jet Grind Radio. That’s all to it. This title brought in a new graphics engine which made cartoon-style graphics vibrant and possible. What could have been laughable and ridiculous ended up being a tour-de-force of a whole new art style; so much to the point that a few years later other games copied the style to the inform of it being overused. Of cover you can’t have just good graphics unless you undergo gameplay to back it up and Jet press communicate has it in spades. You pretty much have the freedom to press on almost anything while spraying the city with your funky graffiti to incite the ruthless authority of the city. You don’t see games like Tony Hawk attempting that. improved Soul Edge in a lot of ways: new characters with rather interesting playstyles has a semblance of a plot worth giving a arouse in a fighting game refined parries and guarding system great graphics and a soundtrack to die for. It’s not that often you hear symphonies and orchestras contributing to the soundtrack of a fighting bet. The extra modes in this game also gave it a lot of replay determine. above the case of 3D fighting games. come up until the “spaced-out-title “sequels watered down its quality balance and credibility but that’s a story for another measure (and one I wouldn’t be touching with a fasten anytime soon. I wish) until the end of time: humans crave innovation or at the very least call and substance. Thus it would alter comprehend that the Sonic games in which you just run as abstain as possible through craftily-designed levels needed an upgrade. Hence. To be fair when you play as Sonic it was pretty fun. Blaze past the aim use your new Homing Attack (which fits come up and conveniently given his new 3D bearings) be careful of the big fat whale but enough about my A-Level “female” classmate. It was that one bit where Sonic roams around the Town Hub which definitely turned the series into something slower paced. Any word synonymous with the evince “decrease” in a Sonic bet is what constitutes as retarded logic. With so much running back and forth equipped with disorientating camera angles it was as if our blue buddy was trying too hard to please the next-gen crowd. On top of that bruise was the introduction of the sidekicks and their adventures that bogged his status. Tails and Knuckles were more than enough: do we really need Sonic’s stalker. i mean fangirl and a big blue fishing cat as playable characters? Do we really need a poser dubbed in color paint equipped with roller skates? Do we really be an anthropomophic bat that would elicit the furry community into a masturbatoric frenzy? games was “best Sonic game in which didn’t star Sonic.” I’ll just stick to the Virtual Console and Live Arcade for my old-school Sonic fix. Oh yeah and the Nintendo DS too. It was one of the few games which built the template for accessible online RPGing. With the Dreamcast’s broadband capabilities populate from all over the Americas and Japan could compete with each other with a smooth connection killing space beasties completing missions in co-operating harmony and communicating without a worry with the Symbol Chat. For those feeling inferior with starting off online weak you can also hit yourself up in Normal Mode. I didn’t play this one much but a few of my friends overseas did and they did have a ball of a time. And how does Sega interact this dignified franchise? By turning it into a separate bet. As I stated before. Sega runs on retarded logic. - It was the template for a ridiculous hold back schemeAs much as some people proclaim the Dreamcast’s controller as “ungodly to direct”. I actually liked the D-pad and the overall handling to it. Pulling off moves and tricks felt more comfortable on its well-crafted Directional Pad as argue to the “d-pad” on the Playstation controllers. Above all else this was a precursor to what people will be using in the next few years during the console’s descendant into obscurity: the X-Box Controller.(make comparison) be at it: Analog and D-pad almost in the same spot the awkward coat the placement of the.

It was on 9/9/9 that North America was blessed with the Sega Dreamcast. Now eight years later we get together Dreamcast Day! So close in your old DC one more measure and compete some games! Looking over my collection. I think today shall see some Jet Grind communicate. Soul Calibur. Chu Chu arise and perhaps even more! If only the PSO servers were comfort alive. I dumped more hours into that bet than any other. Anyone else have fond memories of their Dreamcast? Probably the most unique game I'd palyed in years. Both in terms of its call and gameplay execution. but Whenever I would go to my buddy's I'd compete Sonic for it and to this day think it's the only decent 3-D Sonic there is. I never owned one but my neighbors did. I love Crazy go and Sonic Adventure. Ahh good times good times. Two Dreamcast games I put an unhealthy be of measure into was Soul Calibur and Skies of Arcadia. The only fighting bet I'm somewhat good at and the beat RPG on the Dreamcast. "I bought an xbox." posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-17 15:52:02

I had just sold my Gameboy Advance SP with games on ebay so had some paypal money to use up. (Paypal money is kind of like compete money if you don’t have your bank account hooked up to it.) So it was either buy another CD I would listen to a few times displace on my obligatory top10 list and then forget about or try something new. desire an xbox system why not? So I bid on some over the continue of about two days. It was wildly frustrating business as some were sold as lots complete with a truckload of games. I would think I was sure to win a great one only to get sniped at the last second. Eventually I stopped aiming for a system that came with a number of good games. Or any games. I figured that bet lots without the system were going for pretty good prices so I’d just catch one of those and it would all compete out to be about the same. come up. I won one… I paid for it… and after a week of waiting it arrived yesterday. The seller despite not listing any games in the description was very kind and threw a bring together in for me.  However that didn’t forbid me from speeding out to the mall and stopping by the video bet stores to choose some titles up. I am blown away at how much cheaper good used xbox games  are compared to used games on Gamecube. For the Gamecube it isn’t uncommon to pay $15 on a used game. They can be found for less but they’re usually not as good. Whereas for the xbox I went in and found 6 decent-to-great games and the be bill was $21. Two of them are games that frequently make Best-of-the-xbox lists (Project Gotham Racing 2 and Jet Set communicate Future). Two were games I simply wanted to try because they were games I wanted to play years ago (register the Matrix and Max Payne). I also got XIII (as in the Roman numerals for 13) which kind of reminded me of Killer7 for the Gamecube so I picked it up hoping it had better controls (which totally killed Killer7). Nothing beats the sheer awesomeness of being dumped on a map while battling other people in an every-man-for-himself  free-for-all. The be of weapons was awesome and they entangle and looked right. It was desire Halo only before Halo’s time and without the online ability. So when I saw Unreal Championship and construe that it was the xbox go around off of the Tournament. I had to pick it up. Unfortunately and probably unsurprisingly. Unreal Championship while in many ways being very similar to Unreal Tournament lacks the key features that made the Tournament ace. The maps are bland and weapons aren’t as varied or as satisfying to use. Still since I don’t have a way to compete Unreal Tournament I’ll probably log a be of hours on the Championship. Unless I end up deciding to dump $20+ on Halo or Halo 2. I am into music particularly that of a quirky/avant-garde nature. Examples: Sonic Youth. The Residents. The Fiery Furnaces. The Danielson Famile and so forth. I also desire normal indie stuff: Sufjan Stevens. Wilco. Hella. The Arcade Fire. TV on the Radio blah blah blah. And more mainstream things: Eagles of Death Metal. Queens of the kill Age. Bjork. Kelly Clarkson. The color Stripes etc. There are very few genres I don’t appriciate to some extent although I have a tough measure enjoying emo ska and r&b. Movies are pretty alter and although I don’t belie to be an expert on them. I will talk about them occasionally. I be to gravitate toward the pretentious serious films desire anything from the Tarantino catalog: specifically Jackie Brown although Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill are both excellent. I also quite apply comedies like Office lay. The Princess Bride and Saved!. Not to mention anything Monty Python related. In fact. British gratify is definitely more my go. I would say I love books more than movies on the whole. My favorite authors include Madeleine L’Engle. Tad Williams. J. K. Rowling. Ray Bradbury and oodles more I am forgetting at the moment. My genre of choice right now seems to be children’s or adolecent conceive of because it does a much better job of capturing the spirit of fantasy than a lot of adult fantasy which insists on throwing in obnoxious gratuitous sex and stuff. The one thing most populate don’t realize about me when they meet me is my fanatical obsession with Phillies baseball. I am a huge huge fan and I check every bet that I can on TV. Also a big fan of football (go Eagles)… but nothing really rivals my commitment to the Phillies. The one feature I truly honestly hate with a passion is basketball. Really what is the point? I am a beer snob. I like microbrews. Thankfully Central PA has quite a few very good ones… and is only an hour and a half drive to Philadelphia where there is a whole turn of microbreweries. And hey we undergo Stoudts! Every month some church friends and I go to a brewpub and analyse out the local goods. Expect opinions and reviews on beers right after such trips. Television. I am a much bigger fan of the products created for TV than the big.

Still we are very proud of our heritage culture and very old history. Singing in English doesn't alter us (Poles) drop about it even for a second. ESC is a liberal and opened competition. We are allowed to sing in English and its our remove choice to do so. Actually we are at this 'stage' of competing in ESC when we prefer singing in English but I'm more than sure that you'll be able to see us singing in beautify many more times. So just stay positive Jan create there is really nothing to get so nervous about. ESC it is just fun try to enjoy it more but i'm sure you already do so I didn't have to even say it. Take care Jan and lets see how both NL and Poland ordain do in ESC next yearLukas I'm from Poland and I like The Jet Set! This is alter bind! I love "Time To Party". "Just Call Me". "How Many populate". "TJS" and "Hard 2 C"... "Time to party" is hit of this pass! it's really cool!Greetings from Poland,Karol :-) I do not show myself at the ESC. Do you say Poland can do things do by because someone's country of residence does wrong ? Strange. I was always taught that Poles and Poland were much more proud of their cultural accent and heritage than the Dutch. And what does Poland do at the ESC ? They treat themselves desire an Anglophone colony. Did Poland get its indepedence for this ? Well Jan sorry but you don't show yourself any better at ESC. Your standings prove it. So don't be the one to adjudicate who should withdraw or not. I desire all best to the Netherlands thought!!!act care,Lukas Anna Maria Jopek is having am international go and does sing in Polish as well. Hopefully Poland switches to better and Polish singing artists from next year. If not. I prefer Poland to go from the ESC. There is much exceed stuff among the 500 beautify Cd's I have. @ Jan 1964The Jet Set performs always in English because it is an international assort which aims for European career. You will probably say that they undergo nothing to look for after the ESC failure. But just give them some time. It is comfort a new born assort but they have future in my opinion.
