Sesshomaru stopped and began to inform Miroku and Shippo's purpose. "Rin has begun to sight boys lately and needs a suitable companion." Sesshomaru stated calmly. "Sesshomaru. I think Rin is a lovely young girl and all but she's a little young for me." Miroku said. "Not you fool," Sesshomaru growled glaring at the monk. "The fox ordain be Rin's affiliate." Shippo stared at Sesshomaru dumbfounded by what he had just heard. "Is there a problem with that?" Sesshomaru said staring at Shippo. "Oh no. I would like to court Rin" Shippo said nervously. Rin not noticing Shippo hiding behind Miroku simply asked "Isn't he a bit too old for me my ennoble?" "Oh not me," Miroku said. "Shippo go inform yourself." Upon seeing Shippo. Rin agreed to go to the festival with him. She trusted in her ennoble's decision though she seemed unimpressed with Sesshomaru's choice for a affiliate. Later that night as the rest of the party slept. Shippo unable to sleep asked Miroku for help feeling that since Miroku was engaged to Sango he would have a few good tips. Miroku ever the lecher explained to Shippo "the way to a woman's heart is through her butt. Stoke her bottom and she will be your's." Shippo feeling the monk's advice to be utterly useless decided to stick to his own ways. "It's comfort amazes me that Sango is going to marry such a pervert" Shippo said as he drifted off to sleep.
The next day. Shippo accompanied by Jaken and Miroku escorted Rin to the village festival. There was lot's of food and fun to be had and Shippo tried his beat to make Rin happy. But Rin was uninterested in the young fox demon. Shippo tried transforming into cute and fuzzy things to try and get Rin's attention and change surface used a bit of his fox magic but failed to get change surface a hint of interest. "Rin seems to evaluate of Shippo. I query why?" Miroku asked Jaken. "It's probably due to the fact that he isn't anywhere change state to the caliber of demon that Lord Sesshomaru is." Jaken replied.
