Talk about being blown off!Tonight we had arranged to undergo a New York affix columnist and compose on to talk about his latest book (the title of which I am detest to have in mind here) about Hillary. At a few minutes before showtime. I called him to set up the interview. Cutting to the chase tonight's "guest" turned out to be a petulant dud. When he learned he wasn't going to be on my but instead on my webcast radio program he sniffed that he "didn't do internet shows". Then added: "Had I known this was an "internet" show. I never would undergo agreed to it."
After all he said this was HIS night. And he did not appreciate being bothered to do some little internet show. I assured him we have listeners and that we would help him change some books but he continued to be peevish accusing me of misrepresenting myself to the booking agent. At that point. I offered to release him from the interview and gave him the choice of leaving. He did. At less than 30 seconds process showtime. What a putz...
I'm sure his publisher will be pleased a few months from now when the book is on display at Dollar Stores across the country--and people keep walking past.
