"Internet Radio vs. Music Services in 7.0" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-01-01 23:58:48

There seems to be a fine line between the two although I'm not sure I see what distinguishes one from the other. I see Pandora Radio listed under both. But Slacker Radio is only listed under Internet Radio. Live365 requires a signup but it's listed under Radio not Services. Seems confusing. Or maybe just confused. On Nov 16. 2007 at 8:07 PM. Although the latest string change makes this less clear. I always thought the distinction was "live streams" vs. "on demand music". I have no idea why Pandora is under both but I might suggest that Rhapsody should be split into 2 because it contains both types. Although the latest arrange change makes this less clear. I anticipate I wasn't playing close enough attention to what the strings used to be. That makes some comprehend. If "Music Services" is the equivalent of "on demand" and that means music where' you're not connecting into the lay of a stream then it makes sense. Names desire "Slacker Radio" confuses things a bit but if it appears as just "Slacker" as shown in the wiki it should help.
