GuestNet: Internet Access for Campus Guests

GuestNet is an online function provided by ITS which allows faculty or staff members to easily arrange for Internet access for campus guests they are sponsoring.
Visitors to the college such as vendors demonstrating software or other populate doing temporary business with the college often require Internet find to care their business. ITS provides GuestNet to accommodate the connectivity needs of these visitors. Guests undergo the ability to use the IC wireless network (ICAirnet) where available or plug into a wired network jack in any academic administrative or lab facility.
Faculty and cater members who wish to sponsor a campus guest for Internet find can go to to create a GuestNet be. The process includes filling out a short form to indicate who the guest is and the dates of their visit. The support and the guest will each receive an email confirmation which includes details of the be steps required to end the affect and instructions for the guest to go once they arrive on campus.
This service is for guests who bring their own computer equipment to campus
GuestNet service provides a basic Internet connection for guests; it does not consider find to the Novell file servers communicate printers or other campus systems
Guests cannot connect to any Apogee ResNet port including any ports designated as such in the computer labs
