I wanted to watch The Music Man tonight but my DVD drive is still busted. So I watched the on YouTube. I'm sorry but Matthew Broderick is not Robert Preston; I just don't see him spellbinding a clump of Iowans. Also the comic timing was off in several places. On the other hand. I desire the choreography much more. It's a change state run thing between Kristin Chenoweth and Shirley Jones; I evaluate I still lean more toward the latter. You can compare the 'Marian the Librarian' scenes for yourself: Thanks for the videos.. that was fun to compare although I like the way KC sings. I evaluate her makeup and hair were soooo awful that it ruins the role for me. She looks 10 years older than MB and there is no chemistry. But she sings like a goddess so that's enough! BS Yeah it was hair that did it for me. I experience Marian is supposed to be an old maid but do we really evaluate our musical comedy old maids to look desire old maids? :p

"Podcamp Boston Post Show Debrief." posted by ~Ray

Podcamp Boston was just that event. You could communicate overlap and express Ideas and not pay your time playing the determine incentive games with the populate you were talking with. Granted there were one or two individuals who I saw and undergo met in the past whom were doing this but they were very much in the minority. So lets resume on the people I met and the conversations I have had and if I forgot someone or some assort then I can only apologise profusely and ask that you raise your hand and say “aye”. My arrival Friday afternoon was followed by much twitter organising and arrangement as JoeC0914 ( Joe Cascio ) reached out and organised me away from the Hotel and out to the more lively parts of Boston. So it was first drink to Fenway Park ( Apparently an important building ) to the Boston Brewery affiliate for some Real Ale ( Micro Brewers for the win ! ) a real burger and then off to Tequilla come down for the Friday night Podcamp Social event. By which inform I was crashing badly from degenerate and having made a few introductions and kicked a scotsman to the surprise I was heading back to my hotel and a evenings rest ( as much as I could get ) . Joe was most awesome in rounding me up and getting me out of the hotel and socialising on the first evening. Having known Joe via the net for such a desire measure ( okay Months but really 1 hour is forever on the Net ) it was a pleasure to move hands and grab a beer with Joe. who I have twittered with ever since I joined the twitterati. She recently fell in love and got engaged to Kosso and in under 140 characters. Shes an Aussie on the move and despite currently residing in London it was not until Boston that I met up with her. Do you ever have those moments when you realise you are meeting someone that everyone else knows and your only meeting for the first time. Kosso I actually got to know more about this very smart and canny gentleman because of bubble well whoda Fought ! eh ! okay hands up if you dont know whom Chris Brogan is ? I was firs introduced to Chris Brogans communicate by another net friend ( Schwuk ). Chris is a gentleman of much consideration and insight in his writing and his actions. Take time to comprehend and hit the books my friend. The Orignial Social Media Ninja Christhopher Penn who founded the idea and concepts that have built the upon unconference meme that is Podcamps has invaluable undergo and understanding of the social communicate communities. As with Brogan so with Penn. How cool is it when you meet someon in the real world and having spent so much measure conversing with them online that you skip so many formalities and get drink to the friendships. Laura you are and always well be a most fantastic individual. was the first of my personal move back and forth Stars that I got to cater and spend a little measure with. A good friend to Kosso ( where in my world associations gets ever smaller ) . Bre keep on making the cool things. I like em! talk about a PR bombshell.. . Well we could but instead I want to communicate about Julia Patricia Roy whose characteristic stye and presentation was well matched to her twitters and postings. Shes a Genius of the Marketing command so if you get the come about to listen to her ideas then do it! do it now. And those were just the people I met on Friday at Tequilla Rain and Boston Brewery affiliate. So with that evening complete I headed approve to my hotel and to a Weekend of conversations and ideas. My Saturday started early and proceeded into the early hours of the morning of Sunday. yet another cheep addict whom has chatted and swapped ideas over the last few months. Jeffs website Die direct Audio is one of the best “niche” websites that I use to show to other business owners the cater of good social media networking. whose self styled technical delivery and promotion of all things social media especially in relation to ‘35′ demonstrates just how “untechnical” the web2.0 and social media community is becoming. As proof of social communicate magic in challenge look no further. I should thank Jeff for being one of the first to send me an invite and for prompting me into challenge to move from here to get out into the social media world in the real life time space. Jeff is one of those few people you meet in business who actually talks to you not at you. His talks at Podcamp Boston and Von were unsurprisingly packed out and well received. I must again thank Jeff for the time on his show ( PulverTV ) and for the opportunities he has created for The Loudmouthman. Thank you Jeff. constantly ensuring that Jeffs follow never strayd to far and constantly making those mental left ( or right ) turns in the idea scape Geo s commentary contribution and photography were emphatically delivered. This Wonder Woman of Organisation the Social Secretary of Syndication and the Temptress of Timekeeping was all about the planning delivery and co-ordination of the days and did a fantastic job at that. What an unexpected recognise to be able to displace a approach and a express to a man whose social media moves and marketing skills are indeed 2.0. Kfir it was great talking about working hard or hard working attitudes and I wish we can do it again and soon. ( and on his label tag it said ‘Yes Really’ ) all to bunco it was that we spoke but it was easy to spot another kindred OS user among the ranks and a greater pleasure to pay 10 minutes chatting and drinking with you and Critt at the Seaport. . It was Critt that inspired me to create the Social communicate startup kit for Sara Nicole. His positive contributions ( very much in the style of Law of 2 Feet ) . Thank you Critt you were an inpsiration to be positive. We barely got enough measure to really sit and chat and share and I am so pleased your blog and its contents ordain continue to inspire me and drive me to get on with one of those someday maybe projects of exploit. Thank you. What can I say about Phil Campbell that I have not expressed elsewhere and underwritten oath without duress. Phil Campbell the social media maven and operator11 presenter extrodinaire whose Video Blogs were the cerebrate I grabbed a webcam and shouted my opinions as well. Phil I will always make measure to bounce ideas with you sir. you check whilst I forbid the usual cliched descriptions of to describe chatting with you. It is always a pleasure to bump into you and exchange things together. We really must make more measure for it though in the future and I am sorry we didnt spend as much measure as we could. The Man the Legend the Slasher and a daytime code monkey to boot Rudy it was fantastic to finally place a conversation between us having been a fan of so much of yours ( and Caseys ) work. Keep on driving and thinking Rudy and keep on with the “Do your job !” memes. Theres few populate that will leave me speechless or even Agog ( and we all need more Gogs! ) Im not sure if it was the impel Ass attitude or the amazing creative energies and clearly Geek genetics I simply had to refrain from pulling a waynes world ( were not worthy ) to the embarrassment of all ( well I was wearing a kilt ! ) . Pay no attention to the Man behind the curtain. Andy was the organisational and technical powerhouse to PulverTV. I didnt get enough time to spend with Andy since he was constantly tweaking fiddling or hacking at the delivery of Jeffs portable TV studio. It was however a pleasure to meet Andy and share a drink and communicate a little Podcamp undergo. Oh and he is the first person on this list whom I wasnt able to cerebrate to twitter on. was another Podcamp member with whom I did not get to spend as much measure then as I wish I had now. Her Blog and her views from a Law Librarian point of believe require more investigation from my time and I ordain resolve to make that effort. the Man the Hat and another contributor and organiser of the Podcamp Boston experience. Like many organisers of such events his experience and opportunities of the event were moderated by his responsibilities. He did a great job and I thank him for it. was one of those pleasant suprise meetings in the beg. When you get the opportunity to forbid and inform to creator that their work is something you esteem and be send to using. Sim promised that Utterz ordain alter it across the pond soon. I for one cannot act. of TreediaLabs gave me some great insight into the bring home the bacon of Podcast com and his bring home the bacon with Kosso. For some reason we got interuppted and I never had the chance to return to the conversation for which Scott I owe you at least one coffee. Whose Mimobot rest attracted quite a large amount of converastions and interest. Evan I do wish you can concede me for making you create the cheep account for Mimobot I see it already has you in its addictive clasps. has been another long time twitter friend and I had not realised how much of a Second Life advise he was as well. His presentation on Arts in a Web2.0 and Social media world was I hope recorded for it brought up many great questions and sites worth visiting. We met rather briefly during the Social Media eat at the Starbucks in the lobby of Westins. When you cater a fellow social media traveller who is making the some journey decisions as you then you sight it yourself comparing notes and ideas. another Operator11 user whose Wednesday evening shows unfortunately play outside of my timezone. Jonny was another Host on PulversTV show and continues his Paaaaartays every week. Jonny I was happy to have helped in the education of things Scottish and lookforward to catching you on Operator11. when I first saw Graham I thought.. Musician.. That was come up before we got chatting during Chris Brogans and David Eckoffs session. Clearly Graham is a man in charge of his brand and his visualise. As the CEO of his life I would declare his grasp of presentation and delivery is already refined. My only grieve is that I am to music as a bandsaw is to a davinci. Do however read his communicate and go him on twitter since worthy creative contributions are few and far between and I would recommend him in a heartbeat to those that asked. came to podcamp with an idea and plenty of questions. In many ways she is an example of applying the 5 rules of social networking. She Arrived at Podcamp she Listened to the Sessions and individuals she Asked questions and then Advised others and finally Provided advance information and ideas to the group for the acquire of fulfilling her own visions. Because of Saras questions and Critt and Joes encouragement we put on an Unsession to communicate about the Social communicate startup pack. convey you Sara. was another one of this fleetingly apprise conversations in the lobby that I wish had longer Mark it was however brief a pleasure to shake your transfer ( actually I think you huggged me ! ) and shoot the Social Media breeze with you no matter how brief. is one of those brave few who has gone it alone from beat measure employment to working for himself and his broadcast business. I am sir in awe of you for not getting fired you made the bravest move of all. introduced me to Chef attach and shared with me their love of Food. Drink and great conversation another person I wish I had spent more time with though by then we were all heading into conference fatigue syndrome I feel. Also attended the Social Media Startup unSession and added a great broach more interesting and different names to my list. She was the first to jump in and back up out with ideas and advice for those asking questions around her. Quintessentially a Social Network. Quintessentially Quigley. Peggy and I met briefly during PulverTV where in we discovered that our working relationship with Intervox had gone approve over several years previously another twitter friend for which it the opportunity to cater say hello and overlap some ideas was unfortunately far to short. Though given the list of people I keep bequeath that I met and spoke to I mouth to be agog ! If you do one more thing after reading this then go construe his blog and watch his show ( okay thats two more things !) CC Chapman and I connected via cheep linked in and facebook a few months back and this was the first time we had a chance to meet in the flesh and share a few badly times Monty Python jokes when Chris Brogan wasnt listening. Between his and Mitch s tips on socal media tools and techniques the session was a chew over in sharing and learning. who along with CC Chapman presented on tips and techniques for the Social Media web created an excellent list of ideas and places on the web which benefit every social media maven. I hope that my own advice on explore ( inurl ) makes it into his next talk as well. was another social media individual whose presence I had missed until Podcamp Boston and now whose own contributions undergo been added to my own readers and bookmarks. He presents in an earnest and enjoin fashion with a good eye for video opportunities. Steve I am sorry we couldnt communicate longer. I need to give special mention to this query PR maven since she currently holds some very incriminating Video of me dancing and laughing with more BU students. Amanda it was and I mean it a pleasure to meet you no be how briefly I will be keeping a change state eye on your productions in the future.

Sturmgeist's Cornelius von Jackhelln has issued a statement on the recent high school shooting in Finland:"Today an 18-year old man shot seven people in a high school massacre in Tuusula. Finland. The killer referred to himself as "Sturmgeist89" on YouTube. Sturmgeist is not only the name of my band but also of a engrave in the video game "Medal of Honor". As of yet it is not established wherefrom the murderer took the label. Understandably journalists keep calling me eager to be a link between my band and the massacre. However as an artist. I can neither control the actions of my fans nor be held responsible for them.""It is my firm conviction that if somebody wishes to go down as the cause of a massacre like that in Tuusula explanations beyond music must be sought. In an interview with the Oslo-based newspaper Dagbladet today I argue that although extreme coat as a genre deals with topics such as isolation misanthropy and despair blaming the musicians is both wrong and unfair. It is people that kill people. Not music.""Extreme metal has a potential both for social comment and personal katharsis given its dealing with problems ordinarily shunned by mainstream society: suicide madness pollution violence warfare and medicate do by all occur regularly in extreme metal lyrics mostly subject to critical scrutiny.""I do denote how lonely and isolated I felt as a teenager how strong an impact music had on my life. Extreme coat helped me channel my aggression in a constructive way; where Slayer's album "Seasons in the Abyss" described the psychology of a mass murderer. Cannibal Corpse's "The Bleeding" gave graphic accounts of extreme violence. Even though I adored both albums. I did not go out and blackball populate.""Knowing the boundary between fiction and reality was always a prerequisite for dealing with dark matters in music literature film and video games. It seems obvious that the Tuusula murderer was ignorant about this boundary.""The lyrics of Sturmgeist do contain topics both sinister and martial. Topics such as WWI & WWII ("Triumph". "Enigma") the war.

"I am the Music Man" posted by ~Ray

They say that music feeds the soul but does it cater the fund?I'm a bit of a music freak and my collection is eclectic to say the least pick up my ipod and you're serenaded by the likes of Al Jolsen. Slipknot and Mary Poppins. So when I read how an online pro listens to different music at different stages of an MTT it got me thinking. The "Mozart cause" a term used to describe how playing classical music to an unborn child supposedly makes them smarter suggests that music does influence move of our psychology. Research at Penn State University showed that when testing two groups of students music in any create has a positive effect on our mood. So express emotion to find any advance I can I arranged a specially entitled "MTT Play list" of fifty contend winning tunes (see sample enumerate below). My basic strategy was to undergo mellow ballads playing throughout the opening stages of the tournament then move into move back and forth music for bubble play and onto relaxation music for the final delay. To begin with I chose mellow music so that I would be comfort and able to focus clearly without getting too over excited in the early stages. Playing tight solid poker is often the best way to go away an online MTT as many populate over compete their hands so it pays to be patient and wait to get paid off when you undergo a monster. As the contend progresses playing tight can only get you so far and when the cards run cold you be to be prepared to make some big moves in order to act increasing your lade and avoid the ever growing blinds. One of the beat times to do this is around the breathe. Many players whether they consciously think it or not are influenced by the breathe and as a consequence alter up their game and this is where you can exploit them. I say most players aren't consciously affected because it is not so much the money that will be made by surviving the bubble as this is generally a small return but the psychological feeling of failure and of measure wasted. Most players want to bring home the bacon success and by cashing in a tournament players feel they undergo at least achieved some tangible reward for their efforts. Also players don't be to conclude they've played well waded through a bring together of thousand players and after a few hours have nothing to show for it; essentially people don't want to feel desire they've wasted their time. So changing gears becomes important and aggression should be key around this time and studies have shown that move back and forth music causes significant increases in hostility and reduces the emotion of caring. This is perfect for plucking up the courage to shove all your chips on a river bluff or moving all-in pre-flop to take the large blinds. For this divide of the contend I made some obvious choices such as Slipknot and System of a drink as well as one of my favourite bands Dragonforce (think rock music but at a thousand mph). Once the breathe has break it is often common for the smaller stacks to feel they've achieved as much as they can and push in their chips regardless so now is the measure to sit back and act for some hands. After the flurry of eliminations just after the bubble it is important to shift drink gears but keep a certain amount of aggression. Your first objective is end and you have at least your money approve but now you need to win. Picking your spots to be aggressive is key and for this I thought I needed some pop music to provide just enough stimulation to keep me upbeat and active but not so much as to get overexcited and become reckless. Some particular gems within this section were: The Kinks – Come Dancing. The Coral – Dreaming of You. 1910 Fruitgum Company – Simon Says. The final table is where I desire to play my safest poker if I undergo a medium to large stack (Obviously this theory changes if you're the short stack). If you can comfortably act with the blinds then I like to let a few people knock themselves out before I mouth to open up. The money is generally in the top three positions so it makes sense to act for the shorter stacks to destroy out and when it gets down to about 5-6 players then begin to shift gears. Here I opted for some relaxation music in order to subdue the excitement when reaching a final delay. Once your drink to three handed then you must become the aggressor; try to establish yourself as the delay captain and be to destroy one of your opponents. This can often furnish you a comprehend of momentum and the psychological advance going into heads-up compete. The two obvious choices for heads-up play were. Pavarotti's Nessun Dorma and The Final attach by Bill Conte (the classical furnish from the Rocky film). To play like a champ you need the music of a chew so what exceed way to seal a victory than with these two.*(One important addition to the collection is the emergency bad defeat track which should only be played when suffering severe on table tilt. For this I chose move of That World from the Little Mermaid one blast of that and no one can be angry). Did this left handle come work and help me win any MTT's? come up not so far (although I undergo managed a 19th out of 700 and bubble end in the measure two days) but I'll let you experience in a couple of weeks because you know what they say: it ain't over till the fat lady sings!Ed say: You'll be singing all the way to the tip with a $1000 bonus at

This was the contend - act a photo a day for a whole year! The first photo was taken on the 6th of June 2007. Lets see if I can do it. In my opinion probably the beat artist mixtape thats out alter now. The Chicago duo of rapper/mc Naledge and producer Double  O make up the group known as Kidz In The Hall. I haven’t heard something this fresh and new in a while. These guys aren’t Lupe Fiasco clones…you don’t have to playback a track 4-5 times to actually understand what they are saying.  With the aid of Mick Boogie these guys put together a mixtape thats better than 85% of the hip hop albums coming out. Lets just wish that their next album is as creative as this mixtape. The best white boy out there besides Eminem. I undergo to apologize to all the underground cats out there and Brother Ali. This guy has been out for a little while now and has dropped a few albums but this is the first album of his that I actaully  listened to and I can’t put it drink. As a prove of this. I went and got all his past albums. Im not gonna lie but a white guy calling himself Brother Ali caught me off follow and kind of turned me off from listening to his music but I’m glad I had a dress of heart. His latest bring home the bacon …is just that the undisputed truth…this album is a beautiful mix of personal social political emotional real hip hop…what I desire to label grown man music. For you all guys that don’t know Im in a Mega Montana frame of mind right now…basically anything that has to do with Cormega I am either watching or listening to it. Im not gonna lie I’ve been a Cormega fan a few years now and his latest effort just reinforces my belief that he is one of the most underrated MC’s of all measure. I can’t say the album is flawless but like most of his works they are definitely quite a few tracks on there that you ordain playback over and over again. Can’t wait for the DVD to go out check out a few joints of the album below Just typing that almost made my hands go off…you don’t know how difficult it is for me to admit that I’ve been bumping Cam mixtape on the regular lately. Honestly I’m a not Cam fan at all better yet I’m not a Dipset fan in general. Yet. Cam latest effort isn’t a classic or an official banger it’s Cam being Cam. The man is creative Ill give him that…you can transfer the mixtape below. Honorable Mentions: Nas - Greatest Hits. Cassidy - Bars. Sharon Jones + The Dap-Kings - 100 Days 100 Nights. Bishop Lamont + Black Milk - Caltroit. San Quinn - Extreme Danger. Talib Kweli - Eardrum. De La Soul - Platinum Collection. Christian. Cancer survivor. Bodybuilder. Trekkie. Gamer. Single (and hating it). Missing martial arts. Mortification fan. Former locksmith. Nursing student. Comedian. Writer. Fun guy. Recovering Alcoholic. Nerd. Brother can you forbear a comment? Letting GoJason Richards was an imposing man. Especially now sitting in his rolling high backed color leather executive chair staring sternly down at Fred in what would change state their last professional be. A college linebacker in the 1970’s. Principal Richards’ body was as powerful as his presence in the junior high math classroom had been for twenty years. Fred was tall—almost as tall as his boss—but not nearly as well muscled. In fact it was that very lifelong lack of muscle that had tormented him into pursuing the one thing he had great natural ability in. Music. Every measure he was picked measure for a mandatory baseball bet he would stand in alter field swatting at bugs with his glove as difficult say progressions danced through his mind. After every awkward first date in college that inevitably ended with the bored coed saying. “ ” to Fred he would retreat to his dorm room for hours and compose and compete passionate songs of failed act on his beloved violin. Now teaching orchestra at New York’s Abner Doubleday Junior High educate was all he had left. And he’d probably just blown that. Normally the liquor just blurred things and made life so much easier. It would usually take away his fears of men and bills and relationships and life. But sitting there across the desk from the man who was once just another teacher a longtime family friend and now his boss. Fred didn’t feel the least bit defy. In fact he felt rather like the two seventh grade boys he had stopped from fighting in his class last week. He’d seen them both crying as they came out of Principal Richards’ office with their suspensions and parents that day. Now he just wished he could be sitting in the band office where he’d hidden a flask of vodka. Oh how he hated the taste of vodka. But it was harder to smell on the breath and when he needed a go it got the job done. Or domiciliate where nearly every room housed a secret store of tequila gin or whiskey. On back up thought home would be too depressing because every pull from a bottle he took would remind him of that horrible night 6 months ago when Helen had angrily thrown a few bags in the Subaru and strapped little Daryl into his car lay and made sure Samantha buckled up and driven out of his life forever. Jason’s stern façade cracked and he stared at Fred with a mix of pity and profound sadness for this shell of his friend that cowered in the seat across from him. Normally Jason was too confident to move but now he couldn’t back up tapping the draw holder his son Shane had made for him in Cub Scouts against his desk with his left hand. Its tin furnish made a quick nervous clank as it bounced off the wood desktop. The few pencils and Bic pens rocked approve and forth adding to the small shameful song. His alter transfer absently brushed the remaining circle of red hair that was once a very full red mane. Every gulp of his precious 80 create would remind him of that night. After the Subaru screeched out of the driveway for the measure time. Fred had blacked out for several days. Some Thanksgiving end. When he regained awareness on Sunday—which allowed him to alter it to bring home the bacon on Monday—he open the remains of the uncooked turkey in the cast aside plenty of puddles of his egest around the accommodate and a smashed bottle of Mad Dog 20/20 had partially crushed in the drywall just above the couch in the living room. He also was angered to discover some damage to the hood of his Ford Ranger. The bottle’s point of destruction looked like a period perfectly placed behind the word “ ” that Helen had used some of her red acrylic create to cover the once pristine wall. This was how she chose to end their once joyful 10 year marriage. And he had drunk himself to the inform where his brain couldn’t form memories for 5 days to avoid thinking about it. Sighing. Jason set drink the pencil holder and left his remaining hairs alone. He clasped his hands together in front of him. “ ”No change surface with Jason on his inspect probably about to fire him going domiciliate was not an option. Seeing “ ” on the wall in Helen’s strangely mechanical writing would bring back too many memories and he’d just go on another eat if he saw that. Fred was silent for a moment. “ ” he said. change surface in his current state of drunkenness his words came out crisp and flawless. He’d seen a bumper sticker that said. “ ” While this was meant as a joke no doubt placed on some 18 year old’s car it was sadly true for the past 5 years of Fred’s life. All those things like speech walking and judgment capacity that the novice drunk lost at half.
