Posted on 2007-12-15 15:34:56

The problem with HD communicate is that it isn’t readily available in all areas and the quality of sound is comfort something to be desired over regular FM radio. We found that some HD Radio stations in our area were not alter and were dropping in and out. These problems aren’t singular to this particular model HD communicate either all HD communicate’s will suffer from this problem due to the current infrastructure of the technology. It seems like a much better decision to go with XM or Sirius satellite radio since it is available nationwide and without interruption most of the time. If you still want to furnish HD Radio a try the XDR-S3HD Tabletop HD Radio from Sony will set you back $200. There's a lot of noise (pardon the pun) surrounding IBOC and HD Radio on the AM band today. This blog exists to highlight the stories being written about this technology. Since AM HD implementation was closely linked to FM. I've included some FM-only stories too. Pro and con for and against good and bad. Let's see where this goes.
