Why the sudden nature of this? Don’t they give a two week notice in journalism? She’s writing one day and now the press release refers to her as a “former” Boston tell reporter. Smells like there’s something more to this. Was it her questionable comments about gays or her invasive coverage of the deceased firefighter autopsies that doomed her? Where’s Purcell’s statement on this? Also is there a more hackneyed word than “workaday” especially since Paul Sullivan’s death?
