Widely known radio stations like Power 106 and KROQ have been providing music and entertainment to Cerritos College students. K-ROQ ordain be at Cerritos College. "I'm making sure that they don's say any curse words."Cerritos College uses the radio stations to advertise to prospective students and in turn the communicate stations come here to promote their music."We did this measure semester," she said. "and I evaluate the semester before last."'LA's #1 Party Station,' 96.3FM made a visit and rocked hunt form with the latest hip-hop and reggaeton music. Aug. 23. Despite the small displace and lack of massive enthusiasm the two hosts tried their best to get students interested. They passed out MVP Grand Slam CD's to students with Cerritos College schedules t-shirts to those willing to hula-hoop for the displace and were interactive and personable with their listeners. Bumper stickers and wet bottles were also available. Isabel Payan nursing study sat and listened to the music and enjoyed the student's performances."I'm just here for the music," she said. "and I wanted to do it too."Lopez was glad to pay her afternoon listening to 96.3FM. She didn't know that they were going to be at the college and was excited when she stepped out of class and saw the 96.3FM party van."I think that they are so funny and the music is so good," she said."I'm happy that they finally came down here."Milagros Canas teaching study was happy to see that her favorite radio station had made it to her school."It I weren't here I'd be sitting drink waiting for my class to start," she said."I really like this music and I comprehend to this displace at home," Canas added. K-ROQ brought music and personality to Falcon Square. Aug. 28. K-ROQ amplified popular rock hits for students hoping to flee the alter and spend time with friends. Leslie Rodriguez criminal justice study sat in the shade bobbing her head to the music."I don't really listen to this station at home," she said. "but I do like rock music."Rodriguez spent the afternoon with her two friends Bonnie Avalos criminal justice major and Paulette Ulloa teaching major. Rodriguez. Avalos and Ulloa entangle that this was a great way to change state and undergo a little bit of fun before class."Well the music isn't very relaxing," Avalos said. "but the day is."
Yes but only students who need it for education. Financial aid is not for paying rent and buying groceries.
I don't care about how much financial aid other students are getting as desire as my education is paid for.
