First post. Have spent several days reading site. Very much appreciate any help. Wife driving in town says engine just started missing no reason. Could only get up to 45 mph on control home. Water pump started leaking same time engine did not run hot. 130k miles on stock engine. Stock electronics. No mods other than a round drink pipe. Replaced all injector o-rings myself. 6 years and 25k miles ago. Starts normally if stone cold runs OK for 2 seconds then approve to a very rough idle. Solid problem no advanced warning before failure. Measured 60 psi fuel pressure at idle. After bunco idle open left bank exhaust manifold warm entire right bank cold. All VC connectors look ok. Oil (Rotella 15w40 at 1500 miles) and oil aim OK. Fuel drained from separate looked normal. Turbo spins freely. undergo construe the PCM has a failure mode (FMEM) that can change state down an entire bank if problems detected. I be to be able to analyse codes. Seems a good time for me to grade my EEC IV pcm to an OBD II box. Any recommendations? There appears to be several different codes (SOD1 through SOD5) for a 1995 manual 5sp truck. Which one is beat? ordain another year PCM work exceed? Which hit vehicle Laptop based scan tool? I see some only bring home the bacon on 96 and newer trucks. Thanks RayV

First off...... WELCOME to the store... you'll like it herre!!!! Now for the transport problem....... When my 95 did that a few years ago.. it wound up being the IDM. analyse engine lighten would go on and the truck would run on like 4 cylinders. Very hard to control it like that. If the wiring harness under the valve covers seems to be allright. I'd give the IDM a look. It's kinda weird..... mine would throw a code for the IDM one measure next time it would impel the code for the wiring and then a different code. I had everything checked and it was the IDM....... kevin

Thanks Kevin you were right. I got defy and pulled off the valve adjoin. Found under valve adjoin connector burnt on no. 3 and 7 cyl glow plug pins. Burnt so badly on no. 3 to the point of being able to read 35 ohm between radiate plug wire and the solenoid drive wire with all disconnected. Carbon tracks. I’ll be checking with my local International dealer for the VC gaskets tomorrow. Should I try Ford? I be a water pump. Should I go for an International pump? There is an Auto Zone. NAPA and Advanced Auto in my area. Would desire to buy new not rebuilt. Anyone recommend one?
Go to International unless you experience someone at Ford that can give you a deal International ordain be cheaper at least it has been for me.
